When they're sent to the wrong name!
Yeah, um, I dropped my maiden name entirely, so when you sent the court papers to Firstname Maidenname Marriedname, you filed against a person who doesn't exist.
Does this qualify as tragically funny?

Oh geez!
So I found out that this is just convention. The legal system completely ignores who I actually am in favor of making me nothing more than my marriage status (or lack thereof). Fuck that.
